What a grape day sounds like

As you descend from the lush Eifel Forest, you are immediately captivated by the Mosel Valley’s charm of breathtakingly steep vineyards atop charming historical villages. The Mosel has a rich winemaking heritage dating back to Roman times and is also home to some of the world's oldest, established, and still-producing wineries, a testament to its enduring legacy. What makes this region truly special is its focus on a single varietal...Riesling !yet expressed in an array of styles, from BONE DRY to sublimely sweet, each with a unique long aging potential. Crafting exceptional Rielsing requires immense handwork, patience, persistence, and dedication, both in the vineyard and cellar. The best Rieslings come from the steep vineyards and mostly delicate old vines, producing few grapes. This commitment really is an artisan quality of winemaking that cements the Mosel Valley's reputation as a premier destination for wine lovers around the globe. I believe in tailoring an experience that blends the best of both prestigious, critically acclaimed estates as well as the smaller, boutique wineries that offer unique price quality. These are places where I have fostered personal relationships, allowing us to enjoy a more intimate tasting session. You'll have the chance to sample a variety of wines, ranging from sparkling, premium Grand Cru, and older vintages. Typically, each tasting features about 8 wines of your choice , but sometimes the wine keeps flowing, reaching up to 12 or more! And if you think you might not be able to handle a day of Riesling, don't worry—you will be pleasantly surprised. Beyond Riesling, there is also some high-quality Pinot Noir and other unique varieties of red, rosé, and orange/natural wines to discover as well. What's included in your personalised Mosel wine tour: * Convenient hotel pick and drop off: Based on location, around 10AM return around 5:30PM * Detailed and more personal tastings! 3+ guided wine tastings. Exclusively going into the vineyards for the best views and to see the terroir.
