As we cruise along the Rhein and its side valley experience the medieval history and also the romantic periods wealth & charm. The regions also has a claim to fame is for producing some of the most dry, elegant, complex mineral… and age worthy Rieslings! There is also a revival and focus on a distinct and world renowned German Pinot noir called Spätburgunder. There will be great examples along the way of how family run wineries have been passionately crafting world class wines. You will have many opportunities to swirl, sniff and sip wines during personal tastings guided by the makers. With all those tastings we will need to stay balanced with a stop to try delicious food specialties. Tour Highlights: * Hotel pick up and drop off Frankfurt, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Rhein valley. Tours start around 10:00 based on first wine tasting * Experience 3 wine tastings and a mix of boutique and historical wineries - tasting a variety of 8+ wines per tasting.
